The One Named After Our River
The One Named After Our River
Rother is one of Adhurst’s unique Bath Yurts, named after the River Rother that winds its way through the woodland below.
Like Willow, Rother consists of two connected yurts. The main 18ft yurt provides a warm and comfortable living space, while a smaller adjoining yurt is dedicated entirely to bathing.
Connected by an internal doorway, the private bath yurt features a beautiful freestanding bath with hot running water, creating the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring the woods or wandering down to the river.
The main yurt contains a fully made-up double bed, wood burner and room for up to two children’s camp beds. Outside you’ll find a covered safari kitchen with running drinking water, a gas hob and everything needed for outdoor cooking.
Footpaths lead through the woodland and down to the River Rother, where guests can paddle, explore and spend time beside the water before returning to the warmth of the fire and the comfort of the bath yurt.
Like all of Adhurst, Rother is properly off-grid. There are no plug sockets, televisions or WiFi. Instead you’ll find lantern light, wood smoke, woodland paths and the quiet you forgot existed.
Simple pleasures tend to feel richer here. A hot bath, a crackling fire and the sound of the woods settling for the night are often all it takes.
