The One With The Giant Redwood

Redwood Yurt makes a good companion with Birch Yurt or Chestnut Yurt and yet, it’s also great on its own. There’s loads of private space at Redwood with a totally private enormous safari kitchen. We called it Redwood because there is a staggeringly massive sequoia right outside its door – this sequoia may not be as giant as the famous ones in California but it is the largest species of tree in the UK and it’s well worth a hug, but you’ll have to join hands to hug it.

Inside it’s a bit taller than our other yurts – probably trying to live up to its name! The big blanket box stuffed with spare woollen blankets. There are two adult size camp beds underneath the double bedstead. We have been known to fit three camp beds in here and it’s still roomy. Your wood burner comes with an honesty trug of chopped wood and kindling (£20 if used) and more available if you

Outside your safari kitchen features a fire bowl, camp fire area, running water, 2-burner camp stove, storm kettle, all cooking implements and crockery and glasses and cutlery. And a supply of camp fire wood which is complimentary! Again, if you want more just order by 11am for same day delivery – it’s £15. You can see Chestnut Yurt from Redwood but you only see its windowless-side and thus everyone can still be private. The outdoor shower and privy are shared with Birch Yurt. (Chestnut has its own privy and shower.)
